Hello everyone! I am very sorry for the late review about the gig (Attack of The Indie Kids 2011) happened last week. So here I want to recall the event back. Givenpath was performed second after Failure Proposal do the opening session of the gig. During that time, the crowds were still cold feet to dance yet they're warming up their nerves to mosh. However, i know that Givenpath was giving out their best even though Pure-G, the keyboardist wasn't there completing them at that time.
Givenpath performed 4 songs which are Welcome, The Adventures, Walk On The Brightest Shadow (new song release!) and last but not least, Cakerawala. Honestly, they didn't even prepare to perform Cakerawala as they didn't have enough time to practice but to gratify the request of the crowds they just have to plug and play Cakerawala. Nevertheless, the crowds were satisfied with the performance.
And not to forget, Givenpath would like to thank all of their fans and supporters whom came that day nor didn't came. They have launched their first EP's; What You Believe Is Yours To Decide. first of all, i want to apologize for neglecting my authority as the author of this blog. i've been very busy before as i'm an art student hence there were many projects i need to submit. now i'm free! i am now having my semester break. after realizing that this blog was so silent and no updates for the time being, i want to feature something that is related to Givenpath.
well, have you heard of Horryfied? mostly of the band members are Givenpath members ya know? except for the guitarist and keyboardist. they've carried metal, progressive and experimental elements in their band.
latest performance of the band was at mymc fest 2010 at one cafe, jalan tar, kl. and they were awesome even though i didn't watch it live, i know they were doing pretty good there. (i have internal instinct ya know? haha just joking).
another good news is the band was featured in utopia for the 190th issue. anyway, they're quite famous as the band was frequently featured in magazine these days for example, junk. well congrats Horryfied. wish you goodluck for your band's future.
We want to ask for apologize as we didn't manage to complete our first Ep yet. There are a few things that we have to manage first. But don't worry peeps, maybe we'll launch our first new Ep next week. Sorry for the long wait, i know everyone is keep waiting to listen to our new tracks.
